She almost ran toward me
Her hair was golden
We so marvelled at that
 
I looked at her and I couldn't say a word
She looked at me too, but then she ran away thus, might this be a dream?

When I got to see the maiden of the forest
I close my eyes and I see her again
Sweet curlyhead
 
I cherish the dream, and I couldn't possibly want to wake
The fairy looks at me, but then just runs away, might this be a dream?
