Nero

Well, let's give a space to the history of the Romans and we'll talk about Lucius Domitius Nero Claudius (Nero for the friends). Nero was a Roman emperor who had ideas as filthy of a gutter. He was some kind of J.R. but overflowing, son of Agrippina which comes from grip and Domitius Ahenobarbus which comes from goat fish.

All the obsession of the mother was that his child become emperor (and he became, you'll see, now). She becomes a widow and marries the emperor Claudius. And how she got so involved, that not only he adopts Nero but also he kicks out his legitimate son Britannicus, that it wasn't because he was British nor anything but he was called like this the way he could be called Braulius.

Agrippina (the mother of Nero) started to move aside the supporters of Britannicus with the aim of having the garden clear. Look, a little poison over here, a falling statue over there, a rattlesnake coming out of a mattress and little by little Britannicus is becoming all on his own, to the extreme that Claudius the emperor, a little bit annoyed said to him one day 'Well well. What's going on here that I'm having less and less people around?' 'Don't worry my dear' said Agrippina, 'and drink this soup with yolk.' Claudius drinking the soup and falling backwards like a wall was all in one. To all this the servants come in and Agrippina says 'It was an egg, he got and indigestion with an egg. Put him where he doesn't disturb.'

In the end after two days, that Nero climbs to the throne aided by his mother, married with Octavia (the daughter of Claudius) and having by his side Seneca (who was his teacher) and Burrus (who was his prefect, in other words some kind of administrator who ruled in half Rome). That Burrus, despite of his name1 was very smart, his real name was Sextus Afranius Burrus. And for coming asking for the prefect Burrus and not spelling well, more than a roman had been slapped in the side of the face that looked to the west.

At first Nero, accompanied by Seneca and Burrus he was balanced, he was well. But then he started drinking whisky and fooling around and mention everyone's mother, and that's where he began, with his mother. Seneca and Burrus started to tell him that his mother was getting annoying, that she was too much mother, that he should put her aside. The mother who realizes and says 'Ah, yes? Well you'll see' and started to suck up to Britannicus who was the legitimate son. To this, Nero very sharply realizes it and says 'Neither Britannicus nor Northamericanus, I'm gonna cut of his neck like a chicken right now.'

And here Nero started to heat up. He kills Britannicus, he kills Agrippina saying 'There's only one mother', he kills Burrus, he kills Octavia, his wife because she was disturbing for an affair he had with a woman called Poppaea, and he didn't kill his father because his father died when Nero was small, if not. Well, that was the charge of the light brigade.

Nero, already heated up was going from party to party, with his wife Poppaea and his favorite Tigellinus who is another issue. And he didn't get out of one when he was already getting in another. And come singing and come partying, and come moving aside anyone who disturbed him, and Rome without a dime, and Nero getting more brutish had a crying night and set Rome on fire while with a lyre he starts to sing .

The crowd and the senators started to be obsessed, because people are that thankless with who order and they set up an ambush. Nero found out because there's always an informer, and he killed half senate including Seneca. But Nero was not peaceful anymore. The old men were already becoming guests and he killed anyone who had a weird look.

The end, was that he got betrayed by a so called Nymphidius, who was a ship consignee. He was declared a public enemy like Al Capone but with a tunic, and Nero started to run. Until sick and tired, gave the order to kill him to a freedman. A freedman was some kind of slave, but of course, he was free. The freedman drew his sword, incited him in front and went to kill him while receiving. We don't know if they gave him the two ears, but Nero remained there skewered like a brochette.
